2021 Shasta Kennel Club Dog Show

Anderson, CA

Wrex and Huck were brought along to the Shasta Kennel Club dog show in Anderson, California. Huck (Rough Collie) competed in the open sable and white dog class, Wrex (Shiba Inu) was in the 9-12 month puppy dog class.

Huck was first in his class each day he was shown (3 of the 4 days. He was pulled on day due to a cut on his paw pad. Rather than making him limp through it, I gave him a day to rest and to soak his paw in an epsom salt bath. After all, these dogs do a lot for us! It's always best to put them first.)

Wrex, at his first show from the 9-12 puppy dog class, was awarded winners dog all four days! (There were no class bitches, so no opportunity for BOW). This gave him two points each day, for a total of 8 points. All at his debut show!
